About To the Point Books


 'The idea for To the Point books was born in 2015 and came out of four strands of thought:


I.As a facilitator and presenter delivering seminars and workshops oftentimes key messages are reinforced by providing aide-memoires structured with bullet points.

II.Many of the seminar topics and opportunities that I have provided over many years and available to people in the corporate world are as relevant to individuals from all walks of life as they are to the organisational employee: For example, understanding how communications skills work and influencing are as important to the person buying the car as the one doing the selling. Bullying does not just take place in the workplace and resilience is fundamental to many facets of life.

III.Being a lifelong reader, books for me have been a wonderful source of leisure, enjoyment and a route to knowledge and learning. However, the contents of many of my own tomes are covered in highlighter, underscored phrases and paragraphs, folded corners and ‘Post- it ‘notes

IV.A realisation that not everybody has the same enjoyment of reading or indeed, the time available to read.


With these points in mind I wanted to create a solution. One that would bring topics to a wider audience, that could be read without having to read lots of padding, where key points were easily identified and utilised the simple bullet point format of seminar notes. Hence, To the Point was created'
